A Happier 2021 (Finally!)

I’m starting off 2021 with a new show in Olympia, two upcoming Zoom presentations, and a book of Antarctica photographs.

Landscapes Writ Large at Batdorf & Bronson Coffeehouse

I’m the featured artist for January at B&B on Capitol Way, an Olympia coffee institution. My show features seven large-scale color photos to remind us all that the beauty of nature we missed in 2020 is still there, calling to us. Check out my artist statement at the java pick-up counter. COVID restrictions won’t permit an in-store artist reception, so...

I’m hosting two virtual artist receptions on Zoom to share more about the LWL show, run slide shows of Antarctica and/or Italy, talk photography, and just hang out. Reception dates are:

  • Wednesday, January 13, 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM

  • Tuesday, January 19, 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM

Email me your choice of session by no later than the day before (either Jan 12 or Jan 18, depending). I’ll email you a Zoom invitation with meeting link the day of the session.

I can host up to 100, so everyone will get in. No cover, no minimum, BYOB. See you there!

Wilderness of Ice Book Sale

Order your copy of my book, Wilderness of Ice: The Antarctic Peninsula and South Shetland Islands. With 91 color and B&W images in hard cover, it’s meant for the armchair adventurer’s coffee table. Call or email to order.
